Pre Treatment and Aftercare

For best results and to make the most of the procedure, it is important to follow the advice given below

Before the treatment

To achieve optimal results, it is crucial to avoid having a tan during a session. Additionally, exposing the skin to tanning between sessions increases the risk of hypo/hyperpigmentation
Do not tan between sessions
Avoid using tanning beds or applying spray/false tan for 2-3 weeks before your first tattoo removal session
On the day of the treatment, do not apply any oil or moisturiser to keep your skin product-free
If the patch test was painful, apply topical numbing cream for a more comfortable experience.

After the treatment

Avoid picking or popping blisters or scabs to prevent scarring, pigmentation, or discolouration
If bleeding extends beyond the bandage, keep the gauze in place and change the bandage regularly to reduce infection risk. Contact the clinic if you suspect an infection
48 hours post-treatment, gently wash the area with mild soap, pat dry, and avoid rubbing
Keep the treated area covered, especially in regions prone to friction like hips and feet
For significant swelling in extremities, elevate the affected area to facilitate fluid drainage, especially at night
Do not expose the treated area to sun
